Follow these steps to find the download link for vSAN 7.x or 8.x.
- Go to the Broadcom support portal.
- Sign in.
- From "My Dashboard - VMware Cloud Foundation", click on "My Downloads" on the left side.

- In the Search box, enter "vSphere".
- Click on "VMware vSphere".
- Click on "VMware vSphere - Standard".
- Click on the appropriate release version.
- On the top, go to "Drivers & Tools".
- Type "Appliance" in the search box and download the version of either the witness appliance or file service appliance required for your environment.
- For vSAN 8.x witness appliance, choose either OSA or ESA as appropriate for the vSAN cluster.
Follow these steps to find the download link for vSAN 9.x after signing into the support portal:
- In the Search box, enter "Cloud Foundation".
- Click on "VMware Cloud Foundation".
- Click on "VMware Cloud Foundation 9".
- Click on the appropriate release version.
- On the top, go to "Drivers & Tools".
- Type "Appliance" in the search box and download the version of either the witness appliance or file service appliance required for your environment.
- For vSAN 9.x witness appliance, choose either OSA or ESA as appropriate for the vSAN cluster.
NOTE: Click on both "Terms" links in 'I agree to Terms and Conditions and Compliance Reporting Terms and Conditions' before you can check ' I agree' which is required for downloads to become available.
