Items that were missing from the SMP Console prior to upgrading from ITMS 8.7.1 to ITMS 8.7.2 were:
Under Reports>Discovery and Inventory both of the the folders Discovery and Inventory were missing
Under Settings>Console>Views>All Solution Agents Configuration and Rollout>Agents/Plug-ins several of the sub-folders here were missing
ITMS 8.7.1
ITMS 8.7.2
The suggestions in the following KB article didn't help - the query didn't return any solution install problems: After installing an upgrade certain items or products do not show in the SMP Console
Running a Repair/Reconfiguration in Symantec Installation Manager (SIM) while still on ITMS 8.7.1 to fix this issue didn't help. The SIM logs didn't show any errors during the Repair/Reconfiguration.
After upgrading to ITMS 8.7.2 the problem still existed and another Repair/Reconfiguration finally successfully added the missing SMP Console items.
NOTE: The AppID being using to run the upgrades and the Repairs/Reconfigurations was the correct AppID being used.
