"Applet log level" versus log."user.properties" file to obtain pam client logs

Issue/Introduction

In order to obtain more information on pam client, we can create a file  log.user.properties but setting  or set  'applet log level' in debug in PAM Configuration - Diagnostics - Diagnostic logs, what of this should we use ?

PAM last supported versions in june 2024

Guidance requestg about what debug set in order to obtain pam client information

Resolution

Nowadays in the last supported versions, the way to put the pam client in debug is using the 'applet log level' in debug.

The log.user.properties file is not giving so much detailed information as the 'applet log level' so we can say it can be removed and not used anymore.
