NSX-T Manager Upgrade Stuck in Progress

Issue/Introduction

• VCF 4.5.1 and NSX-T 3.2.1.2 are deployed. 
• NSX-T upgrade to version is triggered from SDDC. 
• NSX-T manager reports hosts as not successfully upgraded and NSX-T manager upgrade is paused and appears to be stuck in an in-progress state. 

Environment

VMware NSX-T Data Center

VMware Cloud Foundation

Cause

NSX-T Manager appliances upgrade fail to handover upgrade with host components , whose upgrade units that have not been upgraded with error.

Resolution

This is a known issue impacting VCF 4.5.1 .

Workaround:
1. Restart upgrade coordinator using nsx root cli as below : 

• stop service upgrade-coordinator
• start service upgrade-coordinator

2. Retry upgrade again
