Failed to mount remote vSAN datastore

Issue/Introduction

Mounting remote vSAN Datastore gives an error "Failed to run the remote datastore mount pre-checks" in 'Mount remote vSAN datastore' workflow or calling vSphere vSAN API RemoteVcMountPrecheck.

Issue happens when:

1. The version of host in the client cluster is one of the below impacted ESXi versions.
   ESXi 7.0 Update 2, ESXi 7.0 Update 2a, ESXi 7.0 Update 2b.
2. IPv6 is disabled on the host.

Environment

VMware vSphere ESXi 7.0.2

Resolution

Upgrade vCenter/ESXi to 7.0U2c or higher

Workaround:
To workaround this issue, enable IPv6 on the ESXi host.
