[VMC on AWS] HCX NE appliances tunnel state down and degraded

Issue/Introduction

This article provides information about the troubleshooting steps to check for NE appliance tunnels down.

Symptoms:
On the HCX Service Mesh NE appliance tunnel shows as down.

Cause

The NSX edge shows Tx queue Wedged symptoms.

Resolution

1. Enabling APR ( Application Path Resiliency) could avoid the issue
2. Perform the Edge failover from Active to Standby

Additional Information

The long term fix for this issue is being investigated and developed and will be included in a future SDDC version release.

Impact/Risks:
Virtual Machines connected to the extended networks through the NE appliance loses connectivity
