Issue/Introduction
Running a linux job takes a few minutes longer than it should. The report shows the following (SESSION_ERROR...................*AGENT..................................unknown.....................*AGENT|connect/(resolve: Host not found (authoritative) [asio.netdb:1]))

Cause
The agent ini file has un unreachable UC_EX_IP_ADDR or UC_EX_JOB_MD_IP_ADDR
Resolution
Check the agent ini file that the setting in UC_EX_JOB_MD_IP_ADDR is actually reachable by the agent server. If this is commented out, check the UC_EX_IP_ADDR setting that it is reachable by the agent server. Note that UC_EX_JOB_MD_IP_ADDR overwrites UC_EX_IP_ADDR.
You can find the DNS or IP address that's throwing the error by enabling messenger trace - add the following in the Pre process tab:
:SET &UC_JOB_MD_TRC = '1'
The report will have additional information like the following which has the unreachable IP or DNS name bolded below:
