PAMSC- PMDB - Exclude user for PMDB propagation

Issue/Introduction

You have PIM12.8SP1 and PAMSC14.1 Endpoints installed on various UNIX systems. You are using PMDB for password propagation and it works as desired.

You would like to create a user on each Endpoint and the same user will be on all Endpoints. You would like to exclude this user from propagation of its password to PMDB so that each Endpoint will have same user but unique password on each Endpoint. How can you achieve this?

Resolution

This is not possible in a PMDB. All users are propagated throughout all subscribers.
