How to restart Spectrum Tomcat Service

How can we restart the Spectrum Tomcat Service on Windows and Linux OS?

Environment

All Supported Releases

Resolution

Windows:

As an Administrator user, open the Windows Services.

Find "Spectrum Tomcat Service".

Stop the service, wait 1 minute, start Tomcat service back up.

 

Linux:

As the Spectrum Installation Owner user, navigate to $SPECROOT/tomcat/bin

Type:

./stopTomcat.sh

Check whether the tomcat process is gone.

Type:

ps -ef | grep tomcat | grep -v webtomcat

If the tomcat process is hung, kill it.

Type:

./startTomcat.sh
