Issue/Introduction

How to check current number of Symantec VIP licenses and usage. This data can be used for accurate VIP renewal quantities. 

Resolution

Log into VIP Manager (https://manager.vip.symantec.com/). On the Account tab, the Account Usage section displays the following license information about the account:

Total Users	3,000 (Licensed)  ← Total number of current licenses allocated to the account. 4,500 (Total)  ← Total number of all users registered to the account under the 'Users' tab. 3,500 (Active)  ← Total number of active users (performed any operation or transaction) within the last 12-months.
Total SMS Credits	1,200,000 (Licensed)  ← The total number of SMS credits available to the account. 1,000 (currently used)  ← The total number of used SMS credits.
Total Voice Credits	300,000 (Licensed)  ← The total number of Voice credits licensed to the account. 1000 (currently used)  ← The total number of used Voice credits.

During a VIP renewal, the license quantity is based on Active users. For example, the renewal quantity for this account would be 22,024 licenses. 

Note: For VIP accounts using credential-only licenses, actual usage is determined using Credential Reports on the VIP Manager Reports tab. This data will be available on the Account tab in a future release of VIP Manager.
