Receiving "ICH408I:OMVS SEGM NOT DEFINED" warning message under release 11.6, is it fine to continue with this warning message?

Environment

CA Easytrieve Report Generator, release 11.6

Resolution

This ICH408I is a warning.

There are no consequences whatsoever with having the warning if you do not have the OMVS segment defined.

Because the compiler is now written under C, the ICH408I warnings occur now.

Despite the warnings, the CA Easytrieve programs will compile, link, and run without error.
