Negative memory values by cdm probe

Issue/Introduction

When generating Server Performance report from UMP, Solaris robots show the Memory Usage in Negative as below:

Environment

UIM 8.51 and Later

Cdm  6.80/6.80-MC

Cause

Buffers and Cached memory are counted as free unless mem_buffer_used is set to yes

Resolution

Follow the below step:-

• Launch Infrastructure Manager
• Select the Solaris robot which is giving the Negative Memory value
• Hold the Ctrl Key and right click the cdm probe
• Select Raw Configure option

• Select Edit Configuration file option

• Under setup -> Click on New Key to add the below values:
  
  • -> Enter key name: mem_buffer_used
  • -> Enter value: yes

• Click on Apply
• Click on OK
• Close the Raw Configure option

• <Please see attached file for image>

  
• Log out and log in to the UMP console
