How to identify the version of Spectrum Secure Domain Connector (SDC)?

Environment

Release: All Supported Releases
Component: SPCAPP - Spectrum Applications

Resolution

To identify the version of Secure Domain Connector (SDC) on Windows

1. Log in to the SDC server.
   
   
2. Launch Windows Explorer.
   
   
3. Browse to SDC installation bin directory.
   
   
4. Right-click SdmConnectorService.exe file and select Properties.
   
   
5. Select Version tab on the Properties dialog.
   
   

   

 

 

To identify the version of SDC on Linux

1. Log in to the SDC server.
   
   
2. Launch a terminal.
   
   
3. Change directory to SDC installation bin directory.
   
   
4. Run the following command against one of library files, example: libGlobl.so.1:
   
   objdump -s --section=SPECTRUM_VERSION libGlobl.so.1
   
   
5. Review the output from command line, see screenshot example:
