SystemEdge agent service does not start after installation on Citrix Server

Issue/Introduction
If you receive the following error after installing the SystemEdge agent "Service 'CA SystemEDGE' (SysEDGE) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services."

Release: Component: SEINSW
Resolution
Follow the below steps to workaround this behavior.
Uninstall the existing SystemEdge agent
Set the environment variable AWSCOMM_DIR=C:\
Reinstall SystemEdge. You will notice the agent will now start up.
