Description:

This document explains what a Jumbo patch is and how it is different from a cumulative patch.

Solution:

A "Jumbo" patch is not a cumulative patch. It is a smaller patch, an incremental update that requires all previous published maintenance as a pre-req.

In the future, we will be referring to a jumbo patch as an "incremental patch".

A cumulative patch contains new fixes and all previous published fixes and requires no previous published maintenance as a pre-req.
