Issue/Introduction

If you receive the message AXC1371E Unable to initialize SSH component (-231). CA AP will not function properly. Verify in your asotrace log file that you also see the following:

Sev=F axc2p: ProcUtil::GetPerfIndex: Unable to find the object title = 'ID Process' in registry value = 'Counter'.
Sev=F axc2p: ProcUtil::GetPerfIndex: Unable to find the object title = 'Thread Count' in registry value = 'Counter'.
Sev=F axc2p: ProcUtil::GetPerfIndex: Unable to find the object title = 'Process' in registry value = 'Counter'.

If you do see this you registry counter has become corrupt and unusable.

After reading thecomments at the bottom of the article, run "LodCtr.exe /R" and this will allow you to launch Automation Point without any errors.
