Issue/Introduction

Description:

Custom reports will run fine once, but once it is scheduled it will not run again.

It just stays in a queued state even if you try to run it manually again it does not work.

Solution:

This is caused by the Nqreporter process which writes a message into Windows Application Even logs regarding the status of the report. If the event log is full, it will pause indefinitely waiting to write the status into application logs.

To correct this, follow the steps below:

  1. Right Click on the Application logs and clear the logs.

  2. Then Right click and Properties, you will get a window similar like one below.

<Please see attached file for image>

  3. After you clear the log, switch the radio box to 'Overwrite events as needed' if it's not pointing to that one already.

  4. Try to run one of the existing Custom Reports again that you had an issue with before and the Custom Report should now run.
