Issue/Introduction

Description:

If you get the above error message when working with Policy Xpress then you need to confirm your DYN endpoint jar files are placed accurately.

Solution:

Policy Xpress will throw the following error: "ERROR MESSAGE: Error building matched rules for policy" into the log file when referencing an endpoint that is partially unreachable.

For Policy Xpress to reach and correctly work with the dynamic endpoints (DYN ENDPOINTS) then their respective jar files must be placed accurately on each Identity Manager server. These jar files are created by the RoleDefinitionGenerator process as described in the Connector Xpress Guide. Please make sure to copy and deploy these jar files in all your Identity Manager application servers. If missing this error will happen because the connectivity with the endpoint will be established but some of the endpoint roles/tasks definitions implemented by this jar file are missing leading to this error.
