Resolve S0D3 abends in CA Opera

Description:

You experience 0D3 abends even with REUSASID(NO) or your organization requires the use of REUSASID(YES).

Solution:

You may have problems with S0D3 abends in CA Opera, typically after an upgrade.

You can usually circumvent the problem, by setting REUSASID(NO) in DIAGxx member in SYSx.PARMLIB. However, REUSASID may be set to yes by START commands with the REUSASID=YES parameter. APARs RO12125 and RO12126 solve this problem.

The problem that caused this abend was that Opera used basic PC routines. This type of PC routines have problems with programs reusing ASIDs and result inS0D3 abends. The PC routines were converted to stacking type in these PTFs and this should resolve the problem.
