Issue/Introduction

Description:

You must update the parmlib member LGLOOKUP with the log stream names for SYSVIEW to be able to locate and read from them.

Solution:

CA SYSVIEW log streams are handled separately for the purpose of reading and writing. For example, to read a CICS log stream online (CTRANLOG, CTRANSUM, etc.) definitions must be contained in the LGLOOKUP parmlib member. To write to a CICS log stream, definitions must be contained in the CICSLOGR parmlib member.

All log stream read definitions are contained in the LGLOOKUP parmlib member, which is used to determine the log stream names to be read by the following online commands:

LGLOGS, AUDITLOG, CTRANLOG, CTRANSUM, CSYSDATA, CXLOG, IMSTLOG, IMSRSLOG, MQRLOG, PLOTLOG, SMFLOG, XLOG.

Log stream write definitions are contained in the following parmlib members:

AUDIT, CICSLOGR, IMSLOGR, MQSDATA, SMFDATA, SYSDATA.
