Description:
I would like to know if SiteMinder support ADFS? I do not find any documentation that precise it explicitly.
Solution:
As ADFS supports profile like WS-Federation and SAML 2.0, you can refer to the following documentation when running SiteMinder 12.5 :
https://support.ca.com/cadocs/0/CA%20SiteMinder%20r12%205-ENU/Bookshelf_Files/PDF/siteminder_fedmgr_legacy_enu.pdf
https://support.ca.com/cadocs/0/CA%20SiteMinder%20r12%205-ENU/Bookshelf_Files/PDF/siteminder_fedmgr_enterprise_enu.pdf
Also from SiteMinder 6.0SP5, you may refer to the WS-Federation sections in Federation Security Services Guide r6.0 SP 5 and SAML 2.0 sections as well.
More, SiteMinder supports Claims in SiteMinder assertion. These claims are equivalent to user attributes inside SiteMinder as stated by Microsoft:
"Claims are statements (for example, name, identity, key, group, privilege, or capability) made about users and understood by both partners in an AD FS federation that are used for authorization purposes in an application."

We have also in technotes a sample to integrate ADFS with SiteMinder:
