Issue/Introduction

Description:

How can I get a member in Librarian which is in outstanding status by the userid who is not in the company any more?
I get the following message from LIBBROWSE:
004C: MEMBER OUTSTANDING FROM LIBGET BY USERID ON YY/MM/DD HH:MM:SS

Solution:

  1. Use LIBUTI (LU) to delete the entry on TLICD file for the non existing user. You also may use LIST before to see all outstanding members.
  2. Deleting the entry on TLICD will NOT delete the member on Librarian master file.
  3. When the CHECK parameter is NO, the default setting in the ELIPSGEN, Librarian does not process the TLICD check.
  4. When CHECK parameter is YES, in the ELIPSGEN, Librarian processes the TLICD check for LIBGET and LIBDLM commands. If another user has retrieved the member, Librarian does not process the command.
