How to uninstall NPC if it co-existed with RA on the same machine

Solution:

What is the process to uninstall NPC.

There is an NPC uninstaller under Support Tools:

SupportTools6\NetQoS Utilities\Uninstallers\uninstallnpc.exe

This will uninstall NPC if NPC is the only product present in the server.

If there is RA (ReporterAnalyzer) and NPC (CA NetQoS Performance Center) and you want to remove NPC and RA is still in use, the recommended procedure is to:

1. Backup RA database;
   
   
2. Uninstall NPC & RA;
   
   
3. Reinstall RA;
   
   
4. Restore RA database.

The reason for that is that when NPC is co-hosted with the data source, it uses the same directory and registry structure and removing NPC only may cause problems with RA.
