Anomaly Detector An error occurred in NPC views with ODBC exceptions

Issue/Introduction

Description:

The following exception is thrown in the Anomaly Detector page in NPC:

The Anomaly Detector 2.2 is installed in the same server as NPC 6.1 in a Windows 2008 R2 OS.

Solution:

1. RDP to the server and open the Server Manager
2. Expand Roles --> Web Server (IIS) --> highlight Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager
3. In the middle pane, highlight "Application Pools"
4. A second pane will open up with the list of all application pools, select the "nqad" one.
5. On the right pane, click "Advanced Settings..."

6. Lookup for the variable named "Enable 32-Bit Applications" and set it to TRUE if it is not.
7. Restart IIS by issuing iisreset from the command prompt
