Issue/Introduction

Description:

During the binds as part of the DB2 10 PTF post SMP/e processing, the JCL generated for the packages contains ENCODING(EBCDIC 500) whichis resulting in the following warning
IKJ56716I EXTRANEOUS INFORMATION WAS IGNORED: 500

Solution:

As a workaround, you can remove the 500 so the bind card looks as followsENCODING(EDBDIC) -
This is resolved by applying PTF RO58023.
