Issue/Introduction

Description:

The default timeout for running a report is 600000 ms (10 minutes). A lengthy report or query from the command line workstation will fail to complete if the timeout is exceeded.

Solution:

  • To increase the timeout for the command line workstation (CLW) to 1200000 ms (20 minutes)

  • Add '-Dwily.MessageReplyTimeOut=1200000' to the CLW command line.

  • To increase the timeout for workstation reports to 1200000 ms (20 minutes)

  • add the JVM option '-Dwily.MessageReplyTimeOut=1200000' to the LAX.NL.JAVA.OPTION.ADDITIONAL section of the Introscope.Workstation.lax file in the root directory of the workstation installation folder.
