The problem is related to the path specified. When specifying the path for your target USS directory, include /CA at the end of the path to account for the SMP/E copy of the UNIX modules. The /CA is where the SMPE copy of the UNIX modules will be. The directory below it will contain the executable for LDAP.
Ensure that when specifying the path for your target USS directory, that you include /CA at the end of the path to account for the SMP/E copy of the UNIX modules. For example, if /usr/lpp/caldapr15/CA is specified SMP/E will write a copy of the UNIX module to the /usr/lpp/caldapr15/CA directory and the executable version of the modules will be placed in the /usr/lpp/caldapr15 directory.
