A UCF Batch job that is run regularly received ########## UCFBTCH 1469 - BACK-END SYSTEM IS NOT ACTIVE
When it was rerun a few minutes later it ran without error. What could cause this?

It was discovered that the UCF LINE had been varied OFFLINE at the time of the UCF Batch job failure.
Check the status of the UCF LINE. Varying it back online resolved the issue. All UCF connections will receive the error BACK-END SYSTEM IS NOT ACTIVE if the UCF LINE is closed.
