How to disable automatic upgrades to SEP 16

Issue/Introduction

For SEP 14.3.x agents managed by Integrated Cyber Defense Manager (ICDm), administrators may want to temporarily suspend the auto-upgrade to SEP 16 and maintain version 14.3.x for the time being.

Resolution

Modify your System Policy using one of the following methods:

Method 1: Change the Release Channel to [Previous Release]

  1. Go to Product Upgrade Settings
  2. Click on Show Advanced
  3. Change the Release channel slider to Previous Channel
  4. Save and apply the policy

Method 2: Completely disable Auto-Upgrade

  1. Go to Product Upgrade Settings
  2. Change the Enable Auto Upgrade toggle to the OFF (left) position to disable the auto-upgrade feature entirely.
