Issue/Introduction

In the Archive within Infrastructure Manager (IM) a probe shows up red with an error message "No Valid License".

Environment

Release: CNMSPP99000-8.4-Unified Infrastructure Mgmt-Server Pack-- On Prem
Component:

Resolution

Here are a few steps to try if you are receiving this message.

  1. Redeploy the licenses to the hub. If that does not work go on to the next step.
  2. Open the license file you received from CA and check to make sure the probe license is within the file. If it is missing please open a case at support.ca.com so a new license can be generated.
  3. Check to make sure the name of the probe in the license file matches the name of the probe in the archive. (FYI: The licenses are case sensitive so "Hadoop_monitor" is not the same as "hadoop_monitor"). If there is a mismatch you can try to edit the license row to match the probe name in the archive.
  4. If you are still having difficulties please open a case at support.ca.com
