Issue/Introduction
When attempting to schedule a CA Business Intelligence (CABI) report to be emailed to an user, error received:
[CrystalEnterprise.Smtp]: [Error sending address(es) to SMTP server. Return code: [SMTP 550 - Requested action not taken: mailbox unavailable.].
Environment
CA Business Intelligence (CABI) 3.xWindows OSCA Service Desk Manager (CA SDM) 12.5, 12.6, 12.7 and 12.9Microsoft Exchange Email Server
Resolution
SMTP 550 is purely a SMTP-server error. The email address to which report has been scheduled is not recognized by the SMTP server/domain server.
SAP has reported that similar issues have been resolved by adding the CABI Central Managament Server (CMS) IP Address in the Microsoft Exchange Relay Restrictions:
Login into Exchange Server System Manager
Click on Server
Go to Protocols>SMTP
Go to Virtual Server Tab>Access> Relay Restrictions
Click Add and a dialog box with available IP addresses appears.
