Issue/Introduction

Xtraction users with the Enterprise Designer role are not able to edit report schedules for other Xtraction users.

<Please see attached file for image>

xtraction user profile.jpg

Note that the Xtraction user has both the “Enterprise Designer” and “Scheduler” permissions assigned.

According to Page #8 of the Xtraction Administrator Guide, all users with either the “Enterprise Designer” or “Scheduler” roles assigned should be able to “Schedule documents and reports”.

Environment

CA Service Desk Manager (CA SDM) 12.9 and 14.xXtraction 15.1 and 2016.2

Cause

Unknown - see Workaround information below.

Resolution

Xtraction development has confirmed this is not working as intended and have logged this as a defect to be addressed in a future Xtraction release.

Unfortunately, there does not appear to be a workaround at this time.

For Xtraction users to make changes to all report schedules, they will need to be a Xtraction Administrator.
