Environment

Aria Operations 8.18.x

Additional Information

When a VM is deleted form VMware Cloud Director, the VM is also deleted from vCenter and the information in Aria Operations will be retained based on how you configured the values below and when the VM was deleted:

  • Deleted Objects: determines how long objects (like virtual machines or deployments) that have been deleted from the monitored environment are retained within Aria Operations for history, data analysis, and views
  • Deletion Scheduling Interval: defines how often the system checks for and schedules the deletion of objects that are no longer in their original data source.
It specifies the number of hours between these resource deletion scheduling events, with a default of 24 hours. This setting applies to objects that have been deleted from the monitored environment
