"project is required" error when ConnectALL synchs from Rally to Jira

Issue/Introduction

When attempting to synchronize from Rally to Jira the following error is seen in the Related Artifacts:

Error Message :  Record could not be created due to the error {"errorMessages": [], "errors": {"project":"project is required"}}

 

Inspecting log files shows the following error:

ERROR YYYY-MM-dd hh:mm:ss,zzz [nnnnnnnnnn | <automation name> | <run ID> | nnnnnnnnnn | {}][(connectall-flows) thread #nn - JmsConsumer[writeQ]] com.go2group.connectall.model.transformer.model.api.MapValuesTransformer: Could not perform the value translation for the field project due to the error 
java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: null
