Issue/Introduction

After a new install on HP-UX AI64 the following message may be displayed when sending from  XCOM Data Transport for z/OS to XCOM Data Transport for HP-UX for IA64 Itanium.

XCOMM0780E Txpi 227: Socket received 0 bytes: Partner closed connection. Last error:1103

Cause

You can receive this error if you installed XCOM Data Transport for HP-UX r11 on IA64.
The HP-UX IA64 requires a new product - XCOM Data Transport for HP-UX IA64 (Itanium architecture)
Since this is a new product, it will require a new license. Please contact your BROADCOM Sales Representative for license assistance.
