I am getting a 1477 error status after changing a CA IDMS program to use a protocol of DC-BATCH

Issue/Introduction

After changing a CA IDMS program to use a protocol mode of DC-BATCH it fails with a 1477 error status on the BIND statement. There is only one BIND statement so the rununit has not been bound twice.

Resolution

With DC-BATCH protocol you need to code a BIND TASK statement at the start of the program before the BIND RUN UNIT and then a FINISH TASK at the end after the FINISH. This will resolve the 1477 error status.
