Deliver 12.2 Upgrade causes Balancing Abend S878-10

Issue/Introduction

Balancing requires an APAR to be compatible with Deliver 12.2. Balancing jobs will fail and the Deliver started task will abend.      

When extracting data using Deliver r12.2, in the started task for Deliver RMOSTC the following or similar messages will be displayed:                                                                  

  INB5419I Reader date from ICB is not valid.  0 is assumed for date and time

  INB5420I Balancing processing for .~\TEST JOB3 started on 00/00/00 at 11:41

           SYSU                                                             

  IEA705I ERROR DURING GETMAIN SYS CODE = 878-10 RMOSTC TASK RMOSTC 00      

and                                                                         

  RMOSTC39  PSO/SAPI interface has abended - CA Deliver cannot continue

Customers who have Balancing and are upgrading Deliver and/or View to release 12.2 should apply APAR RO71092. Failure to do so will result in abends as described. If you have already upgraded, you should apply APAR RO71092 now. Depending on the release from which you are upgrading, you may first need to apply RO63445 (compatibility for r12.1) and RO60919 (compatibility for 12.0). If you are upgrading from older releases of Deliver or View there are additional prerequisite fixes and you are encouraged to apply all available maintenance.
