NFA data source is already registered to another Performance Center

Issue/Introduction

After reinstalling Performance Center and attempting to add the NFA data source the following error is seen:

"Adding Data Source failed Data source is already registered to another Performance Center".

if DX NetOps the error will be:

"Data source is already registered to another DX NetOps instance."

 

Environment

CAPC 3.x

DX NetOps 20.x, 21.x

NFA All versions

Resolution

To add the NFA data source do the following:

• From the NFA console server go to the following URL: http://localhost/ReporterDataSource/ProductSyncWS.asmx

Go to the bottom of page and click UnregisterPerformanceCenter 

Click "Invoke". After clicking invoke you will see a white page, this is normal 

 

 

• Go to a command prompt and run: IISRESET

 

After doing the above steps you should be able to successfully add the NFA data source in the CAPC console.
