Can't add the CA Catalyst Connector as a data source to CA Performance Center

Issue/Introduction

Issue:

Adding the CA Catalyst Connector data source fails because the data source is already registered to another Performance Center instance

 

Environment:  

2.4.x and up

 

Cause: 

Performance Center was likely reinstalled while the CA Catalyst Connector was still registered as a data source

 

Resolution:

To Unbind Catalyst Connector from CA Performance Center please do the following:

• On the box where the connector is installed delete CatalystContainer/capc/data/persistentcache.properties 
• Restart the CA Catalyst Connector

You should now be able to successfully add the CA Catalyst Connector as a data source in CA Performance Center.
