Issue/Introduction

What is the search order for locating the codepage.ini?

 

Resolution

1. Current directory.     (This is the directory where the COM Proxies are located when they are registered)

2. IEFH environment variable.

3. IEF environment variable.     (The IEF environment variable is still used internally for this search even though it is not published as a formal environment variable for Gen 8.x)

4. IEF_CCP environment variable.
