nimldr 23.4/1 cannot install a remote hub - asking for hub IP for configuration_reader_service (CRS)

Issue/Introduction

I am attempting to use the nimldr utility to deploy a new hub in a new environment that does not yet have connectivity to the primary hub.  

The installer repeatedly asks for the IP address of a host running a Nimsoft Hub to download the Configuration Reader Service but there is no other hub in the environment.

 

What is the IP address of the host running a Nimsoft Hub?
Note: Required for Configuration Reader Service.

Nothing I put here works -- how can I get past this question in the installer?

 

Environment

• DX UIM 23.4.0, 23.4.1,
• nimldr 23.4, 23.4.1, 

Cause

Defect in nimldr 23.4/ 23.4.1

Resolution

This is resolved in DX UIM 23.4.2. (nimldr 23.4.2 )

When asked the question: 

What is the IP address of the host running a Nimsoft Hub?


It is possible to enter the word 'skip' and ignore the questions.

Note: the issue does not occurr also using nimldr 9.40 and earlier.
