Staffing by Resource - No Rows shown when using % Availability

Issue/Introduction

Using the % Availability, on the Staffing Workspace, By Resource, when 1 resource has all non-working days in any of the periods 'No Rows' are found.  The log file shows 'divisor is equal to zero'. If the 1 resource is excluded from the results, the data appears as expected. It happens on the Allocations by Resource, Assignments by Resource and the Staff Grid - Group By Resource. 

 

Steps to Reproduce: 

1. Update a Resource Calendar for all Non-Working Days in 1 period (such as a Week) 
2. From your avatar, General Settings - Set the Unit of Measurement = % Availability
3. Go to the Staffing Workspace, Allocations by Resource or Assignments by Resource page 
4. Configure the View Options for Weekly periods and the duration covers the Non-Working week 
5. Try to show the results including this resource with 1 week of Non-Working days 
6. Try the same for the Staff grid using the resource as a Group By 

Expected Results: All data to show. 

Actual Results: No Rows found. Error in Log file 'divisor is equal to zero'. 

Resolution

This is DE79894, fixed in 16.2.2 and 16.1.3.3

Workaround: Exclude the resource or change the view options to use Monthly periods where the resource does not have ALL Non-Working days.
