Issue/Introduction

After installing the Symantec Linux Agent, running the sav liveupdate -u command results in an error:

"Antimalware feature is not licensed "

In addition, the client will show "At Risk" in the Cyber Defense Manager. When examining the logs, you see the following error in cafagent.log:

Environment

RHEL 7.9, 8.x

Cause

This issue occurs when the APPLY_LICENSE command fails to reach sisamdagent from the cafagent service.   

Resolution

This issue has been resolved with version 14.3.2533.6000.  To upgrade your RU6 installation to this build, make a new offline RU6 installation package or run the following command for internet connected devices:

sudo /usr/lib/symantec/installagent.sh
