Receiving alerts even though servers are set in Maintenance mode in DX UIM

Issue/Introduction

End User are receiving alert even when server are set in Maintenance mode in DX UIM. 

Why some alarms are still coming in despite I have Maintenance Schedules enabled for them? 

Receiving alarms even though servers are in maintenance mode. 

 

Environment

• DX UIM 23.4.*
• NAS any version

 

Cause

When the key subscr_block_size = #### is configured, nas processes alarms in bulk. In this mode, nas does not check if the device is in maintenance, resulting in generated alarms.

By design subscr_block_size causes the maintenance schedule to be ignored.

Resolution

To Resolve this issue: 

1. Remove subscr_block_size = #### from nas.cfg.
2. Restart the nas probe.
