Clarity PPM - Change from a Single Currency setup to a Multi-Currency setup

Issue/Introduction

A single currency setup can be changed to a multi-currency setup.

Resolution

Note: A multi-currency setup CANNOT be changed to a single-currency setup.
In 15.6.1 and higher:

1. Go to Administration > Finance > Processing
2. Checkmark 'Enable Multi-Currency'.

In 15.6 and lower:

1. Log in to Clarity System Administration (CSA)
2. Stop the Application Services
3. Go to the Server Properties, System page
4. In the General Section, checkmark 'Multi-currency Enabled'
5. Click on the 'Save' button
6. Run the following commands from a command prompt on the application server:
   
   • cd $CLARITY_HOME/database/sql/
   • dbpatch -install -file SET_MULTICURRENCY.xml -apply
7. Restart the Application Services

When an administrator logs into the application, the Financial Setup will now have 'Currency Codes' and 'Foreign Exchange Rates' links for activating multiple currency codes and defining the appropriate foreign exchange rates.
