Issue/Introduction
An issue was found where even the simplest "dummy job" ends without a JCL error, but the job remains in Automic with the status started, although the job in zOS has finished within milliseconds.

Resolution
The issue has been confirmed to be a bug and will be fixed with a future service pack for Automation Engine V21.0 .
