File Event Object Problem

Issue/Introduction

When an agent stops and restarts during the time a file event is active, the file event does not resume but only stays in a status of sleeping. 

 

Environment

Release : 21.0.x

Cause

This is caused by the use of File Stable in the File Event page:

Change the File setting so that it is blank:

 

Additional Information

With this parameter left blank, the time parameters are read from the process (no longer grey'd out) rather than from UC_HOSTCHAR. 

This is currently being reviewed by the engineering team to determine if this is working as designed, or if this is a defect.
