NFA 22.2.3+ Requires .NET Framework 4.8

Issue/Introduction

While upgrading the Console to Network Flow Analysis 22.2.3 or higher you may run into a prompt requiring Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8:

Cause

Starting in NFA 22.2.3 we will only support .NET Framework 4.8. Please see the compatibility matrix here:

The NFA_check_2128.zip will not be able to install this as this package does not exist on the currently supported versions of Microsoft Windows Server (2012, 2016, or 2019). So manually downloading the package is the only option at this time. 

Resolution

Please download the Microsoft offline installer for .NET Framework 4.8.0:

This only needs to be installed on the NFA Console Server.
