Issue/Introduction

Status Report Uses the Draft Report's Date During Preview/Publish instead of Current Date and Time causing issue with Published report.

Users might have to publish the report twice to get the current date.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Login to Clarity New UX
  2. Open a Project and Navigate to Status Tab. Click on "Reports" which will navigate to Status Report Grid
  3. Remove the Draft Status Report and create a new Draft with Report Date as 01/01/2022
  4. Now Click on Status Report and you will see the newly created draft report is shown
  5. Click on Preview and Publish the Report

Expected Results: Report Should be Published with Today's Date and Time.

Actual Results: Report is published with Report Date 01/01/2022.

Environment

Release : 16.0.2

Component : Clarity MUX UI Usability

Resolution

DE65387 is confirmed as 'Not a Defect' by Engineering and Product Management. The user can manually update the report date.

Additional Information

Before 16.0.2 the Report Date in the UI would reflect the date the report was published, not the actual report date shown on the report.

This was causing a lot of confusion as the dates did not match and reporting in the DWH was using the published date and not the actual report date.

With 16.0.2 the date on the UI now reflects the date on the actual report once it is Published and Final.
