14.3 RU3 and RU4 Endpoint Protection clients fail to install. Error 1603.

Issue/Introduction

Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) or Symantec Endpoint Security (SES) 14.3 RU3 and RU4 clients fail to install with Error 1603 in the SEP_INST.log.

In the SIS_INST.log (C:\ProgramData\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\CurrentVersion\Data\Install\Logs\), the following error message will be present:

This issue is resolved in 14.3 RU5 and later. Please upgrade to this version or newer.
